Founded in the year 1999, Trai Shatabdi Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College is part of the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbhandak Committee's (S.G.P.C.) educational network, pioneered and meticulously engineered by the herculean efforts of the Sikh missionaries with a clear foresight and vision. S.G.P.C. is known for establishing institutions of higher learning across the globe and for promoting quality education with great zeal. Guided by the epochal vision of the S.G.P.C. President Bibi Jagir Kaur Ji, the college has become an "avant garde" enterprise where education is concerned.
The college strives to achieve excellence in three dimensions of higher education-teaching, research and learning. Its chief priority is to help the students achieve academic excellene of the highest order. The college attempts to focus on purposeful innovation by giving importance to application-oriented teaching. Our affiliation with Guru Nanak Dev University helps us to run various Diploma's, Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. Under the Placement Cell of our college counseling of students completing different courses is done. They are prepared to compete in the market by improving their communication and interview skills. Our highly qualified and dedicated faculty always remains helpful to students in their pursuit of knowledge and integral growth. About Us
Trai Shatabdi Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Amritsar is a premier post-graduate institution, affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, was established in 1999 to commemorate tri-centenary celebration of Khalsa Panth with a very few departments and a handful of students on the eve of tri-centenary of Khalsa Panth . The objective of the institution was to impart state of art education to poor and weaker sections of the society. Since its inception the institution has been deeply committed to the propagation of patriotism, nationalism and secularism.
